Hi all
i hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. I sure did. I really thought this christmas was gonna stink, but it turned out to be wonderful. Santa was really good to the kids, they got everything they wanted & of course since they are teenagers now, what they want is always expensive ! but whatever, you only live once.
i've had this week off, the first time in years that i got christmas week off. actually, the second time i didn't piss my time away b-4 august...lol i'm usually out of vacation time cause i manage to use it all in the beginning of the year. 08 will be different cause there are 6 of us in my group & i'm now #5 on the senority list. so i doubt i'll get spring break or christmas off next year. oh well. i'll have to take lots of long weekends then. any ways, what was i saying. oh yeah, so like im off this week & i have not scrapped once !. i've been painting. had to do the dinning room, hallway & staircase. for what ever reason. when people come to look at a house, they cant seem to see past colors. so i've had to cover my beautiful colors & go neutral. do you know how bad it sucks to have to paint a vaulted ceiling ! i so hate painting this house ! ggrrrrr at least im almost done. i have the staircase to do & then done, then it'll just be some touch up here & there to freshen up. you dont realize that things get dirty till u start to paint.
dh is going to put up shelves in the closet in the office tomorrow so i can move my scrap stuff out of the pantry and back into the office/computer room/animal room. maybe i'll get to scrap something b-4 the weekend is out. whoo hoo.

i've been tagged
ok so here are 7 weird things about me
1. i have a weird sense of humor. i love south park & carlos mencia
2. my eyes dont work together like yours do so i can not see 3 d.( unless i go to disney on one of their 3 d rides that the picture surrounds me, then i get sick)
3. i also have to be covered when i sleep even if it's hot, but will kick off the covers & then re-cover my self while sleeping.
4. i love horror movies & teeny bopper movies, and cant let go of the 80's. i know by now your thinking im realy lame, well i am !
5. i have to cut my own grass. i dont like the way anyone else does it. im ocd when it comes to my lawn & it really pisses me off when my pretty plants die & there is no color. i just re-did my plants & some died... gggrrrrr
6. i hate to have my picture taken because of my eyes & teeth. they really bother me & some day when my kids are taken care of, i will get mine done, but not now. so thats y i never have a full smile in my pictures.
7.i love to look at peoples eyes and their color. but people w/ dark brown eyes freak me out. if i cant see the pupil, it freaks me out. it's like a giant black eye looking at me..... gives me the willies. they say the eyes are the windows to a persons soul & i believe that. it's like the black dot is looking into mine.
i know, that was no fun. but it's really hard to find quirky things about yourself. im sure it would be easier if someone else did this for me.
well i cant really tag anyone else since i dont know anyone else but my hilltop girls that have blogs & ya'll have already done this...
ok so now im relly off to bed since i cant even see what im writing.
besides at least i finally got my sign on right & could post again. i tried last week & couldnt get on... like i said im a dork.

cant believe it's already the middle of october.
we are back from cku as ya'll are back from creep over.. it was bitter sweet for us not being there. but i must say, karen & did have alot of fun. and she has pictures on her camera to prove it. most of our classes were good. i loved Tim's class, he's the freakin bomb !
i met ali edwards & had the album track w/ becky higgins & her sketches class. that one i was disapointed in, didnt do much in that class as it was the last one of the day on friday & i was pooped. also we took the bazzill class as the description said we would to 6 x 6 layouts to use on a 12 x 12 page. well we got 5 12 x 12 pages to do... geesh for that i could have just gotten kits. no big thrill there.
im glad i went. we had a great time & lots of pictures.
well im off to bed. im glad i got to see some of the pics from creep over. i called linda saturday from cku... we missed u guys & cant wait to see everyone at winter retreat. the ft. lauderdale girls are filling up. so far there will be 7 of us coming.

heyyyyyyyyyyyyy
well here i am at work, should i be working.. yeah im sure thats what they want me to do since im oh, like HERE!...lol just wanted to drop a quick note to say hello.
this weekend was pretty quiet, didnt do much this past weekend. i was off friday as always now. hooked up w/ a few friends for lunch, left in the pouring rain in case my 2 need a ride home from school, but by the time i got home, it had cleared up for them to ride their bikes home, but by 3:30, i did have to go p/u bella & her friend cause it was raining again then.
friday night went out to dinner w/ my girls & hubby for sushi. yummy, then home. read a book.
saturday morning i've been getting into the habbitt of laying out on my lounger just enjoying the quiet beginning of the day(while it's still cool) reading a book w/ a cup of hot chocolate. it really is peacefull watching the fish jump, etc etc etc. so about 9/10 ish. i mowed the lawn, then proceeded to pressure clean the back patio & by the time i was done, then really did nothing the rest of the weekend except read & walk around the house bored out of my mind, but just couldnt wrap my head around scrapping. to many people in the house.
i will clean better tonight since my sister & niece are coming in tomorrow night & sherry hasnt seen my house since 2004 right after we moved in pre-paint & pool etc & my niece nikki hasnt seen my house at all.
then wed morning im off to lakeland w/ my sister for my fathers memorial & to clean out his stuff from the house.. joy joy.
ok girls im outa here for now.

im back
oh my.. did i work today... im beat & i took a nap. after moping & vaccuming the floors, dishes & god knows what else on the inside, i worked outside. i have those bushes that flower every day & r purple. well the grass got in em & choked the life right out of them. let me say right now, they are twigs. i pulled & pulled & trimmed & trimmed. my nails are gone. I have never been one to wear gloves cause i cant FEEL.... my hands are sooooo SORE. after that i blew the leaves off the patio into the grass to be cut.
So after i blew off the patio, i mowed the grass, now mind you, im doing this all in the heat of the day. so now i've mowed, blew off the drive way & side walks, fed my plants some miricle grow cause for some reason, my mexican heather out back is not feeling well?????? after that i threw down some food pelletts. they should take off real well now. now i just need to get some more mulch for out back. out front, i need to get some new impatients for color.. i keep saying that, i think that will be done tomorrow and of course mulch.
my house is CLEAN... now the big word... can it stay that way? god lets hope so... my dogs, ya'll know i have 2 huge dogs collies. lassie.. you gotta love em and i do... but geesh the hair !... they shed it rolls through the house like tumbleweed sometimes.., no one brushes the poor things. i cant do everything. my husband is a wonderful. kind loving man, would give me the moon if i asked him to... but dang... he wants things & then doesnt take care of them & im not only talking about the dogs. stuff in general. every door gets slammed going in & going out. yes im guilty to on ocasion, but constantly... fridge, bang!, microwave, bang. front door, bang, back door, bang !...... the kids to.
i think im making that man take me out to dinner. i deserve it !

ok, ok, ok
so im a BAD blogger... i never kept a diary for this very reason. it 7:30 sat morning i've been up since 6:30 & im sitting here. got home last night from our friends after 11:30, & went to bed. had the girls finishing up their rooms as someone is coming today to see the house between 10 & noon. we've had 2 previous no shows which really pisses me off. how rude ! dang if your not gonna come, at least call my realtor & say so... i try to be here for the most part when it's another realtor bcz of my dogs... while the people r in the house i take them out back, when they go out back i take them in or put them in the garage for the time being. in this heat i cant leave my dogs in the garage for any long period of time..... the market realy sucks. our house is huge & im practically having to give it away. the taxes & insurance is killing us. i just dont know how they expect people to live anymore unless you've been in your home for half your life. i just dont understand how any young person starting out will be able to survive.
i've been working my new schedule at work since mid august im doing 4 - 10 hour days and have my fridays off.... i love having that day off. yesterday i got really nothing but the laundry acomplished. aunt flo is here & i feel like the life has been sucked right out of me. the girls at work got me hooked onto this website called www.umoviez.com. they are bootleg movies on the computer u can watch for free. now mind u it does have it's draw backs. im into the first part of halloween, go to click in part 2 & the vide is no longer available.... that's happened a few times to me & it's frustrating as all get out. but hey, it's free & i cant complain.. i've already got my eye on a few movies i want when they come out...lol and OMG... it passes the time at work. now mind you, your not supposed to do stuff like that, but so far so good, no one has said a word. my dvd player is also in my desk, my friend is bringing me nip tuck the first season to watch next week. i try to keep it inconspicuous. i even bring my lap top w/ me so i can listen to my i tunes.... i dont have an 80 gig i pod yet that holds movies & tunes. & whats cool is my laptop also picks up their wireless internet. so i download music from limewire if the mood strikes or us girls are talking about songs & were like ooohhhhh gotta have that one.....
my friend that calle me just about every day is like whatcha doin im like watchin a movie & working & they r like you suck!.... yeah i know, it sucks to be me.....lol at least until management rains on my party...... till then it's happy happy
oh well. maybe i will try to scrap this weekend or at least get my kids school albums caught up to date. when ever i get stuff from school for them. i toss it right into their folder to be put on a page. im really pleased with their school albums if i do say so my self. when i started them they were the cm albums... omg..... what a pita those were! i HATE strap hindge. post bound isnt my favorite either, but whaat can u do. k-5 u know those albums are FAT & as of middle school, they slim right down...lol they just throw our babies to the wolves...
well girls i can go on & on... cause ya'll know how i can talk so im outa here, gonna go mop my floors b-4 the family gets up. since i have the animals i use white vinigar to mop. it's a great cleaner & non toxic, but our house smells like a salad for a few hours....lol nothin a candle & febreeze air mist wont cure....

my therapy
so, i cleaned all day friday, my house is just about spotless. ok i wouldnt go that far. lets just say it's clean... when i stress, i clean... karen offered for me to go over to her house if i needed more therapy...lol i love my friends. dh took Bella & I out to our favorite sushi place for dinner... yummy, then after that, we went to our friend adrie & gary's for her b-day party.. had a good time. NO I DIDNT DRINK.. someone had me try a lemon drop OMG... they way she made it was awful... i remember them being good. so needless to say, i dumped it. & drank water the rest of the night.
today i re-aranged my walk in pantry. i had been meaning to do this for a while & well today was the day, more therapy. lol Rick & katie had volunteer hours at the wildlife center in ft. lauderdale. she's really loving that... fell in love with a pig im like dont u dare bring another animal home ! so that was my quiet time while they were gone. i was in there for quite a while, thank got it's attached to the kitchen.
i even got to unpack my xxl... all my scrap stuff is on a shelf and some what neat looking. presentable at least.. i moved all my stuff around, got all the food stuff on one side & all the scrap stuff on the other. i took over the snack drawers for my scrap crap.. dang i got alot of chipboard...lol now if only i use it.
i want to scrap soooo bad, but just dont have the energy. i just want to go veg on the couch.
in the midst of re-orging the pantry i've also been doing laundry ALL DAY & i mea all day; i hang alot of their cloths to dry so when they r done, the go straight to the closet. now im finishing up the last of the towles & wha-al, i will be done, that is until someone changes their cloths or goes & showers.... gggrrrrrrr
my sister lovingly refers to me as SISTA MING SUE, I call her consuela cause she's worse than a clean freak OCD'ing....lol

hello again
hey girls. I do bring sad news. my bio dad passed last night at aprox 9:40pm. I made it to lakeland last weekend & he was skin & bones. all muscle mass was gone. i ended up being sick all weekend w/ my stomache & left saturday afternoon. We had quiet time together & that was the last time i was to see him. I didnt want to stay in case i was sick & didnt want to spread it to him. but personally i think i got food poisoning from applebees in bradenton.
I just thank god that he did not linger in the hospotil, & went very quickly. They found him in the bedroom wed on the floor & had him admitted to the va hosp in tampa that same day. his morphine drip was started yesterday early afternoon i think & by last night he was gone. it's sad, yet a releif to know there is no more suffering. since he had cancer in his bones/entire body, you can imagine how much that hurts.
well my loves.. have an awesome weekend. I will be back.... like a bad habbitt....lol

i've been tagged
ok, so Jules has tagged me & im to list my top 10 of summer... i should be in bed trying to sleep, but im wide awake.. dh is leaving for phoenix for 2 days in the am & had to have him some....lol u know me.. i throw it out there like it is...
1. my weekend at Jule's house in tarpon springs w/ Karen & my hilltop girls via way of Ocala...lol
2. winter retreat. freezing my hind end off in the cabin friday night, blowing out the fuse in the cabin w/ my electric blanket.... good lord... it was COLD.. but wouldnt miss it for the world
3. birthday crop at citrus hill rv park... i just love not having any curtins on the windows... i look great in a sleeping mask..lol
4. sebring fried green tomatoes crop... my sinus dripped the entire weekend, almost burnt down our room due to peach cobler drip in the oven... anyone passing by would think we were getting stoned in our room...lol... love kip in her bikini shirt w/ my holding her belly ring in my teeth. oh yeah, flashing boobies & having a bra on my head (again im sorry if i offended anyone)
5. being able to go to cku. but karen & i will be missing out on creep over... drat the gold logs park for not having enough beds... hey what if we brought tents? hhuuummmmmmm
6. going away over spring break w/ my family... we went to georgia, south & north carolina w/ friends. i just LOVE camping & was hoping to find a place to live (no such luck. house has gotta sell first)
7. driving to georgia by my self the end of july to pick up my girls (they spend a week w/ my fil in NC) I got to see my friend lynn & my brother whom i love & miss dearly.
8. turning 40 this year, my dh spoiled me rotten, i got my 2 bearded dragons for mothers day & my mac lap top for my b-day & a small surprise party.....
9. swimming in the lake at joe & mary's house. i love the lake more than i do a pool, it's just so much fun to jump off the dock & act like a kid. i think the kids love it cause half the time im down on their level, having fun & im not afraid to make an ass outa my self.
10. just being.... sitting back & watching my kids, how they have grown & how beautiful they are & what wonder people they are becoming (thats on the days i like them & dont have to yell....lol)
well my friends. i wont tag anyone since im sure those linked to my blog have already been tagged & i dont know anyone else outside of my hilltop girls that has one.
I want to thank Linda J. for all that she does for her girls, the lengths she goes too, to try and please everyone. which i know is not always easy, but it takes on hell of a person to keep on tryin & succeed cause so many of us live for our hilltop crops. Linda you and your girls (michele, elle, dee, barb, diana, sorry if i forgot anyone) stive to make hilltop the best that it is & for that i love you w/ all my heart.
I had to twist my friend Kathy P. arm to try to get her to even go to one of our away crop, now i cant keep the witch home....lol we are having some great times together... she's quite the prankster & joker.... love ya kath, wouldnt have u any other way.
well girls that it for now. i will try to be more diligent w/ my blog, right now it's just really hard, im back full time 40 hrs that is monday - thursday (i have fridays off... yipppeeeee) its hard cause i work from 8-6 & feel like i get home, eat & go to sleep. missing my nights a little....but it's worth it in the end.
im off to lakeland this weekend. need to go see my dad. his health is going downhill really really fast & i dont know just how much time he has left. he goes to the va dr in tampa wed so we shall see. thats another long story that i will entertain you with another time. now for some pictures.

is it friday yet? Happy Birthday girls.....
Let me start off by saying a BIG HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO LINDA & BARB !!!!! I LOVE YA'S BOTH.
linda i know i talked to you today & gave you a verbal HB, but it never hurts to hear it again.
ok girls so im slippin here.. sorry i havent been on recently. Back to work, EEEWWWWW. wish i was at home scrappin instead, but when i was home, i didnt do that either. I really really hate not having a dedicated space for my stuff. It's all in my walk in pantry on the shelves & in my xxl & i hate having to search for stuff. I want it all there at my finger tips... I did however finish the class/kit i took at the Birthday Crop of Jules.. it turned out soooo cute & i just love sanding & inking it's so relaxing, messy but relaxing
dh & ds go to estero this weekend for a hockey tournament so i will be home w/ my girls & i plan on scrappin im gonna fill up my dining room table & just leave it out. yeah right. lets see if that happens.
Karen & Donna were supposed to come over & scrap w/ me at my house since the boys would be gone, however since their boys are in travel base ball, i think they will be having games all weekend. We were so trying to get together at each others house to get on a scrappin groove, but it doest look like were off to a good start.
This past weekend they scrapped at michelles store (scrapbook central) in coconut creek, i didnt get to go since dh was out of town on business from monday to friday & when he got home friday night, he left w/ his friend mike to go fishing in cape coral w/ our old neighbor.
Im soooooo tired, I just cant get caught up on my strength & now being back to work is yucky.... first i had driven up to GA to get my girls, my FIL had them in NC for a week & he drove them down to my brothers house... it was a fun drive up alone, listened to my IPOD the whole way. i have never done anything like that before so this was an adventure for me. I didnt get much sleep while i was gone & then when i got home, had a hectic week & then it was the 4th of july & then Karen & I were off on our girls weekend in Tarpon Springs at Jules' house, then home & back to work.... so im still really draggin bad
I really really miss my Hilltop Girls.... they are so addictive & i sure do wish we could move up that way... It would be a blessing just to be able to sell my house.....
Everyone please say a prayre that someone comes & scoops up my home... we really need to downsize....lol especially after our shopping spree in ocala & the birthday crop, then ocala again & rouban rouge....GOOD LORD i still have Seabring, CKU and creepover in october lol i may have to pimp out my husband..... i will get more for his body than my own....lol
well girly girls, i think thats about it for now, it's almost 11pm & my eyes are closing. im laying here on my bed w/ the laptop... god i love this thing & belss the person who created wirless internet...

So how many of you had a great time on the 4th of july? I know I did. Every year we spend it with our friends. My friend Joe live & I mean LIVES for his fire work show. He stives to make it better & better each year. Last year he built 1 board with timed fuses, and floated it on a boat out over their lake. This year, he did two and had them all stung together. Let me tell you, this was better than any city show that is out there. I mean the man lives for this & it's awesome. I'de been telling my friends all about it & i dont think the believed me so the two families came along for the ride... THEY WERE BLOWN AWAY... let me show u some pictures.

ya know i have to laugh. Karen got to my house about 10am friday morning... so here we go... We stopped at Scrapbook Central on our way out. this is a store that our friend Michelle owns down by us, which is a great store & i dont say that because we know her, i mean it. I spent about 95.00 b-4 i even left the county.... OMG.
Now were off, to Jules' house via Ocala.. now anyone who knows the area, knows that Ocala is above the Tampa area, about 1-1/2 hours out of the way, but since we live so far away, when we get to travel up that way, going to hobby lobby and griffins is a must for us since the stores down by us really bite bad. needless to say, I spend some more $$ there as well. We finally got to Jules sometime after 9:30. Im not even sure what time we went to bed, we sat up talking for quite a while.
Saturday was a hoot. we all met up at RubanRouge. HOW MUCH DAMAGE CAN THE HILLTOP GIRLS DO? ha lots & lots... we had a blast.. we shopped, we laughed, we shopped & terrorized 2 small obnoxious boys... gosh i cant stand parents who DO NOT CONTROLL THEIR KIDS !..... these 2 brats ran around the store for quite some time, and i think each of us at one time or another scolded them.
Thanks to Michele, I am now a blogger, Thanks Michele, your the bomb and the queen of patience since im new to this.. So here I am trying to post and add pictures. sorry girls no hiney shots this time.. all clothing remained on.
Im sure the other girls will post about how much fun we had at Jules', I for one want to thank Jules & her wonderful husband Gene our Cabana Man for a GREAT weekend.
well thats it for tonight, im pooped after our long drive home. it was long, Karen totally kicked my a** at punch buggie for the third time this weekend. geesh

In the lap of luxury
Here we are, spending the weekend at Jules' house in Tarpon Springs, Fl.... Having lots & lots of fun, We are SUPPOSED to be scrappin, but we have shopped, Karen & I shopped even before we left Lauderdale/Broward County....lol WE ARE COLLECTORS OF SCRAP STUFF.... but at least we can say hey, we HAVE IT !.......
So instead of scrappin here i am floating around the pool. More to come later.....
